Fried ice cream a dessert made of a breaded scoop of ice cream that is quickly deep-fried creating a warm, crispy shell around the still-cold ice cream. I have eaten it once or twice but found it to be just okay.
A couple days ago, I saw a hawker selling fried ice (not ice cream) and took pictures of him frying the ice. His fried ice comes in two flavours, lychee with coconut and mango with coconut. Unfortunately I did not buy a cup to try as I had to drive my family to a restaurant for lunch.
