AUSPICIOUS DATES TO HANG 'ANG CAI' (RED BANNER FOR DOOR)

Some Chinese families would hang a red banner or cloth across the front door to welcome in the new year.  This is said to be an excellent way to allow positive Qi and beneficial energy to enter the house.
A good date and time should be chosen to hang up the Red Banner.  Also the person who does the hanging will need to take a bath and wear clean clothings. 

Here are the auspicious time for hanging the ‘Ang-Cai’ 红彩 Red Banner for the Chinese New Year.

(卯时) 05时 至 07时(冲 ‘clash’ chicken) 0500hrs to 0700hrs
(辰时) 07时 至 09时(冲 ‘clash’dog) 0700hrs to 0900hrs
(巳时) 09时 至 11时 (冲 ‘clash’ pig) 0900hrs to 1100hrs
(午时) 11时 至 13时(冲 ‘clash’ rat) 1100hrs to 1300hrs
