ULALA SESSION

On Tuesday night, I watched the MAMA awards on TV8.    One of the groups that performed was known as Ulala Session. Now Ulala Session is the winner of a singing contest in South Korea called "Superstar K3". What is so interesting about this group is that the group Leader Lim Yoon Taek , 32 (extreme right) was battling stomach cancer. Throughout the course of the competition, the slim, bespectacled Lim had grown thinner and lost his hair as the contest wore on and his stage-four cancer took a toll. Doctors said the disease had spread throughout his body and warned the group to prepare for the worst. Well the group went on to win the competition and even performed during the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in Singapore on 29 November, 2011.  Initially, it was feared that Lim might not be able to attend due to his health condition but he managed to make it to the MAMA stage.  Now this is one man who is living his life a day at a time.  Now this is really one very gutsy young man.  His fighting spirit inspires me.
