SNIFFING CINNAMON TO IMPROVE BRAIN FUNCTION

Cinnamon leaves plucked from the school Herb Garden
Whenever I feel tired or drained, I'd go to the Herb Garden and pluck a cinnamon  leaf or two to sniff.

In Malaysia, there is this current issue of youngsters sniffing glue to get a high.  This is really sad as by doing so, they do irreparable damage to their health.  If they want to sniff or smell something, they could try sniffing or smelling cinnamon leaves or cinnamon sticks.  The smell would help raise ones senses.  As a matter of fact there was a study where researchers found that sniffing cinnamon resulted in improved brain function.  They observed that subjects did better on memory and attention tasks when taking whiffs of cinnamon as opposed to other odours or no odour.
