FENG SHUI NUMBER LUCK

"Feng Shui Number Luck -- Doubles, Specials and Master Numbers and What They Mean In Your Life"
Feng shui is a study of the environment and is often expressed through numbers. It's widely known that 8 is considered the premier lucky number throughout Asia. The number is sought after in addresses, phone number, and license plates. But it doesn't have the corner on all the luck.
There are many numbers and number combinations that are considered very special and quite fortunate, but possessing different qualities. Numbers have a way to impact our lives - ask anyone who's tried to balance a checkbook to explain how numbers can be frustrating.
In everyday life, people report seeing particular numbers repeatedly.
This tendency has been described as everything from angelic intervention to synchronicity to apophenia, which is the tendency to ascribe meaning where there is none.
However, many people have the experience of relating well to particular numbers and even find them lucky. Over time you may have noticed that certain numbers are more meaningful or fortunate for you - or unfortunate. In feng shui, that's also true. Certain numbers convey illness and injury, and others good health and good fortune.
What are your lucky numbers?
The day of your birth. If you were born on September 9, then 9 is your lucky number.
Your kua number. This number relates to your date of birth and your gender. Calculate it here:http://redlotusletter.com/resources/kua-calculator/
Date of birth number. Add your entire birthday together, i.e., September 9, 1964. 9+9+1+9+6+4=38. 3+8=11 (do not reduce). This would be a very special birth number.
Your name number. Add up the letters in your name from your birth certificate. A is 1, B is 2, and so on until 9 and then it starts over again with Z ending on 8. Add the numbers up and reduce to one number unless it adds up to 11 or 22.
Below is a explanation of some of the most important numbers in feng shui (but not the only ones), their underlying energies and what they mean to you. Bear in mind many numbers have dual meanings, so you may need to select the meaning that is most meaningful and relevant to you.
How to look at numbers
Look at the number as it stands, such as 68. But you will also want to look at it as a single number versus two. To do that, add the 6+8 = 14, 1+4=5. So the number 68, will actually be a 5. You can do this with your birthday, i.e., May 2, 1971. 5+2+1+9+7+1=25, 2+5=7. Some numbers, though, you won't want to reduce, such as 11 or 22 because these are called master numbers and should not be reduced.
The Big O. Although often overlooked, the number 0 adds weight and influence wherever it is. It's the number that turns 1 to 10 and 10 to 10,000 or 1,000,000. If you live at 11000 Oak street, that's a pretty important number. Not only is it in the thousands, it's also an 11, making the 11 more important. Seeing 0's a lot? Look to the number next to the zero to give you an indication of what's important.
SINGLES
Number 1. This is the prime number of leadership. The number 1 is related to happiness and a do-it-now kind of quality. You have a hard time stopping. When you see a 1, it's time to take a step or endeavor - or to stop being so headstrong and lighten up.
Number 2. The number of love, pairing and relationships, seeing this number is either about your relationship or making a decision in your life as the number 2 often represents a choice. Are you neglecting your relationship -- or making a decision?
Number 3. Three is a number related to self-expression and growth or self-exaggeration. This number is telling you to think big and act big or to speak honestly and forthrightly and to stop bragging.
Number 4. This number is about your home, writing, or designing. It can also relate to hard work and continual progress. Seeing this number is about making your home comfortable or expressing yourself in writing or education...or stopping to smell the roses.
Number 5. Five relates to big change. You will need courage and you exude wisdom. When you see 5, take precautions.
Number 6. This number relates to heaven, spirituality, healing and tells you to take charge in your life. It can also relate to big business, heavenly intervention and international travel!
Number 7. Seven is a number related to quick thinking, intelligence and interest in esoteric studies - and psychic abilities. Seeing seven is telling you to pay attention to your mind over your heart and to follow your goals. Shine on 7!
Number 8. This is the number of wealth and repeating good fortune. It can also mean the endless loop of work. Seeing eights is luck returning over and over - or having your nose stuck to the grindstone.
Number 9. Nine relates to big changes, success and big endeavors. It can also mean a do-gooder that helps others at the expense of herself. Seeing this number means to get busy and be productive in your own life and brings the luck of completion and lasting good fortune.
DOUBLES & TRIPLES
Double Numbers. Whenever a number is doubled or tripled, it can mean double luck or misfortunate. Numbers 22, 33, 444, 555 all are more meaningful and more powerful together. The numbers should be looked at as one number and as a single digit (added together) for more meaning.
SPECIALS
Number 10. The number 10 relates to completion and brings very good - and easy luck - and is found in the number 10 but also in the numbers 28, 82, 55, 26, 64 and any number that adds up to 10. Sometimes creating luck is hard; the number 10 will bring luck and good fortune with greater ease and helps wherever luck has been missing. These ages are also associated with good fortune!
Number 18. This number and all multiples of 9 (27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81) are powerful numbers and often represent big changes.
Number 38. This number in feng shui relates to three 8's. This is extreme good luck! It's also the design of one of my favorite feng shui jewelry pieces that I designed. Wearing and displaying three 8's means tremendous growth and triple good fortune!
MASTERS
Number 11. This is a master number that relates to spirituality and leadership. An 11 is often related to leadership for higher ideals. Seeing an 11 is telling you to take the higher road or to make a big shift in your life.
Number 22. This is also a master number. This is a number of a leader who has the power to make major shifts in their lives and the lives of others. Seeing this number means you have a path to follow and that you can create your own destiny.
