I bought these two containers from the Kampung Simee market. They were going very cheap, only RM1 each. When I saw them, the thought that entered my mind was that they were flower pots. When I was paying the man RM2 for the two pots that I had bought, two ladies stopped by to have a look and commented, "No wonder the teapots are being sold for RM1 each, they don't have a lid."
It is wonderful how the minds of different individuals work, isn't it? I saw the containers as flower pots while the ladies saw them as teapots. Come to think of it, they must most probably be meant to be used as teapots but were sold at such a cheap price since the lids were broken or damaged.
