What you see in the pictures above is my kitchen. Though the place where I do my cooking is nothing grand, I make sure that I keep it clean and tidy. Firstly, it is because clutter gives me a headache. Secondly, a dirty and messy kitchen will have stagnant and negative energy. This will interfere with the harmony and balance of occupants of the house and would also affect their wealth luck. How one maintains the kitchen reflects ones ability to take action in life.
For your reading pleasure, I have included the article below:
AVOID CLUTTERED KITCHEN
Clean up your cluttered kitchen at the earliest if you want to bring harmony, peace and balance to your family. The surroundings in which you prepare meals are important for good feng shui.
Discard rotting fruits and vegetables.
Do not hoard food items.
Discard bottles of pickle, jam and any other items after their expiry dates.
Unused gadgets, such as mixer-blender or oven, which are not of immediate use should be stored away.
Your dustbin should not overflow and spill its contents on to the floor.
A lot of people have a habit of hoarding plastic bags for later use; these should be discarded.
If your kitchen is facing a garden or a tree then ensure that dead leaves are thrown in the bin as soon as they fall in the cooking area.
Knives, if kept in the open, shoot 'poisonous arrows'; you should keep them in drawers.
Stains and crumbs on the surface of the kitchen represent stagnant chi.
Clutter in the kitchen not only gives birth to bad energies but could also be the cause of diseases, especially if you have children in the house.
Efficient storage reduces clutter and provides balance in the kitchen.
As elsewhere in the house, the chi should be able to circulate freely round the kitchen. It cannot do this if the kitchen door is in direct line with the outside doors and windows, which allows the chi to immediately flow out of the kitchen. If this is the case, you should aim to slow it down by closing these routes of escape or by installing barriers.
