SCHOOL ASSEMBLY IN SESSION

Unlike ordinary schools in Malaysia, the school that I teach in offers vocational subjects.  The students wear special corporate uniforms on certain days of the week.  One of these days is Friday.  On this day too, the weekly assembly is held.  In the above pictures, you can see an assembly in session.

For today's assembly, one of the student representatives recited a poem in the English Language about teachers.

Last week, the student representative from another class gave a speech in the national language.

Students who take part in public speaking during assembly will be presented with a token of appreciation from the language department.  Here the senior assistant is presenting the gift to the student.

It is also during assembly that certain videos and slide shows are presented.
