I LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS

As with many Malaysians, I am also a fan of South Korean dramas.  I find that they are very entertaining and watching the dramas help me to relax after a hard day's work.  Furthermore, the actors and actresses are all great eye candy.  However, I only like to watch the shows that have happy endings.  Those that end on a sad note make me depressed and unhappy.  Don't forget that I am the creator of the Xing Fu blog is about the pursuit of happiness!
Currently, I am watching a K-drama called, "Protect the Boss".  It is a comedy with four very telegenic leads. The bonus is that the two main leads Ji Sung and Choi Kang Hee are established actors with quite a number of years of acting experience to their credit.  In my opinion, these two carry the show and make it the success that it is.  Their on-screen chemistry  is great.  This is not only for Ji Sung And Choi Kang Hee but also for the rest of the cast, especially the veteran actors and actresses.  They manage to flesh out the character warts and all.  There are actually no really bad guys in the drama.    Then special mention must be made about the idol turned actor, Hero Jaejoong.  He too is a revelation as his acting is okay.  Initially, I thought that the pretty boy was hired for the job because of his potential to woo the younger set of female audience but then he has proven his worth.
The series aired its final episode on the 29th of September but I only managed to finish watching it just now.  Anyway, I found out earlier that the story has a super happy ending with all the four leads professing their love for each other.  Yeh!  Though I already know the ending, I had a great time watching the last episode. The lead couple got married and the character played by Ji Sung underwent a big change; from a buffoon to someone whose managerial skills got recognition in the end.   The last scene gave viewers a taste of their enduring love even after years of marriage. I got that feel-good-feeling from it.  I will be watching the drama over again at least once.  Yeah!  It is that good.
