THE FLOWER FAIRY IN THE HERB GARDEN

Whenever I feel suffocated or unwell, I would go to the Herb Garden in school to unwind and recharge.  Miraculously, I become much better after spending some time there.  Perhaps, it is the fresh and clean air plus the greenery having a healing effect on me.
I make it a point to go there once a day to check on the plants when I am in school.  Most of the time my library assistant and my friends usually guess where I am when they can't find me in the library or in class. Mind you, my nickname is Pari Pari Bunga or Flower Fairy.
Some of the herbal plants especially the fruit trees were bought by me and planted by a few of my students and my colleagues, Shahidan and Asiah.  Some of the plants were given by my other colleagues, staff and students.
The plants are not there just for the sake of being there.  I use a lot of the leaves and branches for medicinal purposes; either to be eaten or for herbal baths.  The young shoots are also used to make kerabu or eaten as ulam (salads).
