YULI FOUND A TORTOISE

Last Friday morning, my mum's Indonesian friend, Yuli (picture) found a tortoise while she was cycling to the market.  According to Yuli, she saw the tortoise by the side of a drain.  She decided to pick up the tortoise and give it to my mum as a present.  For your information, Yuli works as a maid to my mum's neighbour and her boss's house is just behind my house in Ipoh.  My mum keeps 3 tortoises in a pond on the North side of the house and it is because of this Yuli decided to give it to her.
However, I noticed that my mum, who was almost recovered from her illness, started to complain again of weakness in her body and she was also acting strange and could not eat much.  That got Aunty Linda and me really worried.  I began suspecting that the presence of the tortoise could be the cause and brought my mum to consult my sifu.  True enough, the sifu confirmed my suspicions.  He said that the tortoise was one that was released during a special ritual and it would be wrong to keep it in captivity.  The sifu told us to immediately set the tortoise free by releasing it into a river or the sea.
