In the picture above is a silk flower arrangement that was given to me by my friend, Foong, when her business went broke. That was way back in 1993. In the picture, the arrangement looks nice but in real-life the flowers are faded and the sides of the petals are frayed. Back then, I did not realise that it was not auspicious to take something from a business that had failed as one might inherit the bad Qi fromt he faield business.
So I went and got me some new flowers to replace the old ones. I chose a purplish colour scheme to denote wealth luck.
