FREE TORTOISE BUNS

In Ayer Tawar there are two temples dedicated to the Nine Emperor Gods, the one that I blogged about yesterday is the bigger and newer one.  The other one older and very much smaller.  As a matter of fact it is a small wooden hut with a small compound.
The pink tortoise buns that you see above are from the older temple.  They are sponsored by well-wishers and given free to devotees. One of the temple people offered the buns to Lai Yoong and me but we turned down the offer as we did not fancy eating the buns.
