FAMILY GET TOGETHER

My sister, Lilian and her family came back to Ipoh for a visit.  In Malaysia, our school holidays started on the 29th of August and ends today whereas theirs only started on the 2nd of September.  Anyway, we managed to get together this weekend.  Unfortunately, my other brother-in-law, Michael was ill and did not join us.  He had been coughing for a few weeks already.  My two other nephews, Jeremy and Ben went back early to KL to avoid being caught in the after Hari Raya traffic crawl.  So, it was not a BIG get together.  Perhaps, we could try again at the end of the year.
Of course, one eats when one is in Ipoh.  It is after all Ipoh is famous for the wonderful food. As the populace in Ipoh is predominantly Cantonese, Dim Sum (a Chinese snack) is one popular food here.  I live in Sitiawan and there are not many places selling Dim Sum.  In Ipoh, there are a number of restaurants specialising in Dim Sum.
Tomorrow, I will blog about the Foshan Restaurant where I went for the Dim Sum.  So, please come visit.
