I am proud to post an article here about an American lady who has been a visitor of the Xing Fu Blog for a few years now. Her name is Ania M. Milo and she is an artist.
Artist/Painter Ania M. Milo of Pure Emotion Art /Art'Istic Pets brightens up the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar with the rich, bold colors of her abstract paintings. She puts a smile of the face of shoppers with her delightful and unique custom pet portraits. Ania joined the Farmers' Market & Bazaar family last year not long after discovering her talent for expressing her emotions, thoughts, and feelings with paint, and transferring her love of animals into beautiful and joyful pet portraits.
Ania is a self-taught, emerging artist from Canton where she lives with her two German Shepherds and a one-eye Pekingese, Yoshi; which all are rescues. In the relatively short time that Ania has been a professional artist, she has enjoyed wonderful success. Her artwork has been exhibited in several galleries, she had been accepted into a number of juried art festivals and she enjoys a steady inflow of commissions for her custom pet portraits and abstracts.
The Baltimore Farmers' Market and Bazaar is a very special place for this artist. "The market is where I am able to truly connect to people on a much deeper level because the atmosphere there is so causal and relaxed. Anyone can come up and look at my artwork or even observe me painting. Especially kids, they love watching when I paint one of my pet portraits. They tell me about the things that they like to create, and one little girl even brought her own drawing to show me!" said Ania Milo.
"I also love the mornings when my customers come to pick up their finished paintings. We usually have an unveiling ceremony and take lots of photos with the subjects and their portraits. This usually brings in a large crowd of on-lookers and everyone has a great time."
At the bazaar, Ania offers original abstract paintings, Giclée reproductions, matted and framed and unframed prints, and greeting cards. Shoppers can commission a custom abstract painting or a custom pet portrait of their beloved pet.
In addition, customers can order unique merchandise displaying their commissioned painting on things like t-shirts, hats, cups, cards, stickers, bags and now even canvas shoes. Gift certificates are available.
