SOURCING FOR LEAVES FOR HERBAL BATHS

This morning I busied myself going around the school to get the leaves of fruit trees.  I even went to the teacher's and staff quarters to get the leaves of cashew nut, jackfruit, longan, mangoes and other herbal plants from the wives of my colleagues.
You can see me getting ready to cut the leaves from the mango tree that is planted outside the student's hostel.  I will be using the leaves as ingredients for herbal baths which I will be giving as gifts to participants of the Name the Herbs Competition.
During the month-long exhibition on Traditional Herbal Baths for the school resource centre, I had already taken a lot of leaves from the plants in the Herb Garden, so much so that the place looks a bit depleted.
The exhibition ends tomorrow and the plants in the garden can take a vacation from Miss Cheah's scissors.
