UPIN AND IPIN CARNIVAL

This weekend there is an Upin and Ipin Carnival at the Indera Mulia Stadium in Ipoh.  For those who do not know, Upin and Ipin are cartoon characters in a Malaysian animation series on TV9.    I will blog more about the characters of Upin and Ipin in another post.  
The carnival started yesterday and will end tomorrow.  The organisers have prepared a lot of activities for visitors.  The highlight is the Parade of Animation during the launching ceremony at noon.  
On sale at the carnival are drinks and foodstuff bearing the Upin and Ipin Food logo.  There were also merchandise like T-shirts, stationery and soft-toys bearing the twins images.
