DINNER AT 'THAINESE RESTAURANT'

Dinner tonight for me was at the Thainese Restaurant in Seri Manjung.  The name for this restaurant is derived by combining Thai and Chinese.  The Malay waiter who served us said that the two chefs were of Thai Chinese parentage. Looking at the menu, the food served were Thai and Chinese in nature.
Honestly speaking, the decor of the place was nothing to shout about but the food was really delicious.  I'd give it four out of five stars.
Lai Yoong and I before we started to attack the food on the table.  In front of us were the Kailan fried with salted fish, a Tofu dish and a Thai Shrimp omelette.

This is the Thai fish curry, really delicious
Besides the two chefs, there was another Thainese in the restaurant, that is, Lai Yoong's darling, born of a Chinese dad and Thai mum.
Hey!  My maternal grandma's parents were also from Thailand but then they were Chinese.  Anyway, they were not my grandma's real parents.  The great grandparents adopted her from an orphanage in Indonesia and her parentage is unknown.  She could possibly have Indonesian or Dutch blood.
