Sometimes when I am feeling uneasy or suspect that I have encountered something evil, I would drive to the Siamese Buddhist Temple in Kampung Koh to pray to Buddha. What I do is to sit under the statue of the sitting Buddha and face that of the Reclining Buddha, then meditate. It does wonders for me. I really believe that Lord Buddha would help cleanse me of whatever evil I may have encountered and help me to reacharge my Chi. Such is the faith I have in Him. I will also ask the monk there to carry out the water cleansing ritual for me.
Some people would go to Mediums and also Bomohs to help them get rid of 'dirty things' that are haunting them. Sometimes, these people may not be genuine and the people who seek them out end up being cheated of their cash and even virtue. My godmother and late sifu had warned me against going to seek help from such people. That is why I just go to the temple and ask Buddha or Kuan Yin directly for help.
