NOT AS TASTY AS BEFORE

Many years ago, my family and I would frequent a Char Keow Teow stall outside the Ipoh stadium specially to eat the fried noodles (Hor Fun) which has a distinctly delicious taste.  One had to wait at least half an hour to enjoy the noodles as there would be plenty of people waiting in line.
Yesterday morning, I went with my mum and aunt to the same stall.  There were many people waiting in line at Stall No. 28 for their orders.
We all ordered a plate each of char keow teow and had to wait for 20 minutes.
After we tasted the noodles, all of us commented that it was not the same.  No doubt the noodles tasted delicious but it was not as good as before.  The cook now is a lady where previously it was an older man. I took a closer look and instead of Penang Fried Koey Teow, the signboard said Taiping Fried Noodles.
Aiyah!  I had assumed that it was the same stall as I neglected to look at the signboard first.  No wonder the noodles tasted different.
