DAYLIGHT ROBBERY

My telephone went dead last night.  If there is no telephone connection it would mean that the Internet would also be inaccessible.  Sigh!
I called Daniel to see if his phone line was working and he confirmed that his too was out.  He told me that the copper wires contained in the telephone cables near our housing estate had been stolen.  The thieves cut the lines and removed the copper which can fetch a good price. 
This morning I met Daniel when we were both on our way to school.  We stopped by at the telephone poles where the cables had been cut and the copper removed and took photos for rememberance. Seriously, this is right in front of people's homes and the thief (thieves) has the audacity to carry out the task in broad daylight.
