CAMELLIA JAPONICA




Here is the Camellia Japonica plant that I bought last weekend.  Each time I see an uncommon plant, I'd buy it either for my mum's garden or my porch.  My florist told me that the Chinese name for the plant is Cha Fa 茶花.  That was enough for me to trace its name in English.
I left the plant under the care of my mum after I bought it as I was going to be in Penang for three days.  I'd bring it back to Sitiawan with me next week.  When I bought the Camellia, it already had two buds.  I am sure that it would have blossomed by now.  Actually, I wondered how it looked like in full bloom and did a check on the Internet.
