AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE KOREAN ACTORS? NAY ...

My colleagues saw this photo of my nephew, Ivan and I decorating my laptop desktop.  They said that he had large eyes and looked either Japanese or Korean.  I showed them another photo of another nephew and again they said, "Eh!  Cantik macam bintang Korea". (Eh! As good looking as a Korean star.)

I don't know whether to laugh or to cry as my nephews are 100% natural.  From what I have read and seen from the Internet, many of these so-called beautiful actresses and handsome actors with large eyes with deep eye creases plus high noses and V-line faces were originally not what they look like now.

This is the girl who starred as the girl Rain initially had the hots for in "Full House"

Lee Da Hae, when she won a beauty pageant and as she is now.  Note the eyes and face shape.

Lee Min Ho of Boys Over Flowers Fame with a picture of him at a young age and one of him as Go Jun Pyo.  Note the difference in the eyes. Much wider and with double eyelids.  It was said that he had a nose job as well.

Sin Min Ah, initially had small eyes with no double eyelids.  Look at the big eyes and pronounced double eyelids now

This is the girl who starred in Sunkyunkwan Scandal.  Wah!  Look at the picture of her as a child and now.  She must have had her eyes widened and also added the double eyelids.  Her face was also most probably reshaped.

Note that the actresses and actor shown above had typical Korean type of features of slim eyes with single eyelids, bigger cheek bones and flat face. Ah!  The wonders of plastic surgery.
