It is amazing how the Paku Rawan or Yellow Velvetleaf (Limnocharis flava) and Kangkung (Ipomoea aquatica) or Water Convolvulus are able to grow in any body of water. Both plants which are featured in the above pictures were actually growing in a big monsoon drain in Sitiawan. However, I wonder if anyone dared to harvest them to cook their meals?
