The word sidekick refers to a close friend or follower who accompanies another on adventures, etc. My mum and Aunt Linda always joke that they are my sidekicks because they have to follow me around to the places I need to go take photographs or to get information. When I was back in Ipoh last weekend, they accompanied me to a Book Fair at Sekolah Tuanku Abdul Rahman (STAR) to buy books and to the Herb Garden to look for the Patchouli plant.
The Lone Ranger has Tonto as a sidekick while The Green Hornet has Kato. Me? I am luckier. I have two sidekicks, Julie and Linda.
