The weather nowadays in Malaysia is very, very hot. This has something to do with the location of the sun being above the equator where this country is.
To beat the heat, I have been buying a lot of coconut water to drink lately. In the above pictures, you see the hawker pouring the coconut water into a mug. He will later pour half of the water into a bag for me. So he can sell to packet of drinks with every coconut he cuts open. The price of one packet is RM1.50.
Oh besides being cooling and refreshing, coconut water has other health benefits. It carries oxygen and other nutrients like potassium to the body and helps to cleanse the digestive system.
