While my mum was busy looking at the pots of four season lime at the nursery, I was snapping away at the pots of chrysanthemum plants which were also being sold there. The flowers have not fully blossomed yet. They would most probably be in full bloom in about two weeks' time which is just in time for Chinese New year. The blooming of the flowers would signify the start of spring and the dawn of a new year.
To the Chinese, chrysanthemums symbolise perfection, optimism and joy.
