DRIED AGAR-AGAR

I have a great fondness for a Malay snack called Agar-agar Kering or Dried Agar-agar. It is a traditional Malay snack which is simply yummy to eat.  I bought one jar of the Agar-agar Kering from the Farmer's market this morning.  It is reasonably priced at RM3.50.
The agar-agar is first boiled with sugar.  When it is cooked, it is hardened and cut into strips and then  left to dry and harden in the sun. It is supposed to have a cooling effect on the body.
