'CLEANING' A PLACE THAT HAS NOT BEEN IN USE FOR SOME TIME

 The boys from my class helped me to clean the school gallery yesterday morning.  The place had not been used for a few months.  As expected the place was covered in a thick layer of dust and the boys took some time to sweep, dust and wipe the furniture and window panes.
When the place was much cleaner after the physical cleaning, the boys said some special prayers to bless the place and also to rid the place of any unwanted spiritual presence.  Here in Malaysia, we believe that if a place is not in use for some time, then spirits would make a beeline for it and dwell there.  It would be even easier to attract spirits if the place was somewhere where not much humans go to every day.
