Last Thursday I got my student Syarifuddin to help me take down the red banner that was put up when I moved into my new house. It was the tenth day already and I decided it was more than enough. Some people keep the red banner up for a year or more than that.
After the red banner was taken down, Sharveen helped me to fold it and then I placed it in a drawer of the altar. This red cloth which is 9 feet in length should be kept in the house for good luck. My mum says if there is another red occasion at the house, it could be taken out to be hung again.
