It is that time of the year again when I go on a 9-day vegetarian diet. I am not the only one as there would be tens of thousands of devotees of Taoist deities, the 9 Emperor Gods, who would also go on this annual fast.
This year my mum and I went to the Na Cha temple at Kampar Road to pay our respects to the deities.
Offerings of sandal wood and incense for the deities by devotees. 
A set of offerings (inclusive of buns and fa guo) to the deities can be bought from the temple at RM15.00.
