NEW HOME FOR THE UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN

The children of the Vision Home or Rumah Wawasan shifted to their new building in Desa Manjung Point a the beginning of the year, however I was unable to locate the new building until today.  I had tried looking for the place with Sharveen a few months ago but was unsuccessful.
Anyway, I finally got to visit the place this afternoon.  This is because Lai Yoong managed to find the place after a friend of hers showed her the way on Friday.
As can be seen in the pictures above, the building is very much larger and then it looks so clean and new.  That is a wonderful feeling to know that the children are living in a better place.
Lai Yoong is pictured with a few of the girls in their sleeping quarters.
The sleeping area of the girls has pink tiles.  It is very cooling and nice.
A few of the girls posing next to a shelf containing their toys and decorations.
At the boy's sleeping quarters.
One of the orphans doing his own ironing.
Li Ping is folding the clothes.
The outdoor kitchen.
Their living room.
This building was officiated in 2008 by Dato' Kong Cho Ha who was then deputy minister for Science, Technology and Innovation.  However, the children and their keepers only moved in at the beginning of this year.

Me with the children and their keepers.  There are altogether 29 orphans.

Their happy and cheeky faces show that the children are well looked after.  Mei Mei, the one in green t-shirt, had just woken up and hence the dazed look.
