Lai Yoong and I had lunch at Strawberry Cafe this afternoon. She ordered the Black Pepper Chicken Rice while I ordered the Cantonese fried noodles. Our verdict. Boleh tahan! (For those who do not understand the Malay language, it means Satisfactory).
The two of us had specially requested the food be cooked by Leong who is one of the three cooks at the Cafe. The other two are Zul and Wan. Leong once worked at the kitchen of one of the hotels in Kuala Lumpur (I think it is Tropicana but am not too sure) but he came back to Sitiawan to help his uncle. His mother is Eric's elder sister. That is why the food nowadays taste so delicious.
