PURITY RING

 The dishy looking young man in the picture above is Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers fame.  The 3 brothers are known for their squeaky clean image.  In short, they are young men that girls would be proud to bring home to show their parents.  All three wore purity rings.

Well, I read that on his 21st birthday, Joe is still clinging to his purity ring. 
Purity ring?  What's that you may ask?  It is a ring that some sort of encourages the message of purity, abstinence and chastity. Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas wear the metal bands on their fingers to symbolize, as Joe puts it, ‘promises to ourselves and to God that we’ll stay pure till marriage.’ The eldest of the brothers, Kevin, is already married and that leaves Joe and Nick.

Chastity rings are similar to wedding rings, but they serve as a reminder to wait until marriage to have sex. Unlike chastity belts and other chastity devices, the chastity rings do not act as a physical deterrent, only as a reminder to say no.
