When I went to Teluk Batik a couple of weeks ago, I visited Marina Island. This man-made island is being built on the coast of Teluk Muruh, opposite Pangkor Island and Pangkor Laut in Perak. This is a reclamation project from the sea with a total area of 316.9 acres, 400 meters from the mainland's shoreline.
I just drove along the place as quite a number of the sites were still under construction. However, I could see that there were a few business premises that were already in operation. Wow! This would most likely be a Happening place to go to once everything is completed. No wonder the prices of property in Manjung is much higher than many places in Perak.
