The media has recently referred to garlic as white gold. Why? It is because the price of this aromatic has jumped from RM 3.00 a kilogram to RM8.50. This price hike is considered meteoric. Forecasters have predicted that the price might go up to RM11.00 per kilo. Oh Oh, does this mean that the price of food will be increased again?
