SANDAL WOOD LIKE SMELL

I bought this Rudraksha bracelet from a peddlar at the market and hung it in my car for a few days.  Yesterday, when my friend Haji Hasnin helped open the door of my car for me to put in all my bags, he commented about the sandalwood like smell in the car.  He asked me if I had placed the sweet smelling wood there.  However, I told him that the smell most probably came from the Rudraksha prayer beads.  I put it in the car as the beads are supposed to have mystic powers which is also said to give out positive energy.
