IT'S THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS

My former student Solihin wanted to give me a treat at MacDonalds but unfortunately his ATM card was damaged when he tried to withdraw money from the Petrol Station next to the restaurant.  He felt so bad about it and kept apolising.  Actually he needn't worry as he could always foot the bill another time.  I was really touched that he wanted to do so.  To me it was the thought that counted.  Anyway, I finally ended up giving him and my other student Umaira a treat.  There was an activity in school until 5.30 p.m. and I promised Maira's mum to send her back after it and that was why she too got treated to a meal at MacDonalds.
