I love eating Ulam. For those who don't know what Ulam is, let me enlighten you. Ulam is a Malay word meaning eating vegetables raw and it is often bitter. It is usually eaten with sambal belacan which is chili paste with belacan (fermented shrimp paste). The Malays in particular have a fondness for ulam but nowadays the other races in Malaysia are also following suit as they are believed to be good for our health as they are full of antioxidants to keep diseases at bay and also help us to look young.
So ulam, anyone?
when i was younger (in sec school) i didnt eat ulam at all. now is different. im starting to try ulam. not bad really.
