There is this stall near the Gourmet Square in Ipoh Garden that sells very, very yummy Yam Cake. The Yam Cake or Wu Tou Kou is a savoury Chinese steamed snack. The Yam Cake or Taro Cake is made from yam cubes mixed together with rice flour and then served with fried shallots, scallions and other condiments such as dried shrimps or chopped chili. The Yam Cake sold at the stall sells for 80 sen a piece.
