Whenever I attend a Malay feast and Tomato rice or Briyani Rice is served, there would usually be Dalca. It is a curry dish cooked with a variety of vegetables like brinjals, potatoes, long beans, carrots and chillies.
In my case, this is the dish that I might normally eat during such happy occasions (provided beef is not added) as I do not eat the beef or chicken curries that accompany the Tomato or Briyani Rice.
