A CHOCOLATE WONDERLAND

Know what?  The ancient Chinese costumes plus the handbags above are all made from chocolates.  Yup!  I am not kidding.  You can see them at the Beijing Chocolate Theme Park in China which was opened on 29 January 2010.  It is called World Chocolate Wonderland (世界巧克力夢公園).  The theme park's purpose is to "bring a little sweetness" to the Chinese people during the recession.  Furthermore, it was designed to allow visitors to learn about chocolate's history and its impact on other cultures.  Chocolate Wonderland closed in April this year and will be reopening in January 2011.
At present the World Chocolate Wonderland Exhibition is in Taiwan.  I guess they decided to bring the exhibits on a roadshow when the theme park is closed.  The exhibition aims to show that chocolate is not just a foodstuff  as it can be used as an art material. It is being held at Taipei's National Taiwan Science Education Center and features Taipei 101 skyscraper, some of China's greatest ancient treasures like the Great Wall of China, Terracotta Warriors and Mogao Caves.  It started on 3 July 2010 and will go on until 26 September 2010.  How I wish I could go visit!
