TRY IT FIRST AND THEN YOU WILL KNOW ...

Last Friday I went to try out the Mee Udang Banjir at Tanjung Karang.  Mee Udang Banjir when literally translated means Flooded Prawn Noodles.  I guess it is called such because the noodles and also the prawns appear to be flooded with the gravy.
This shop has become popular because it was featured in a television programme on Malaysian Food.  It seems that the host of the show said that the food was delicious and got customers going by the droves to that place.
The banner outside the shop tells would be customers "Cuba Dulu Baru Tahu" which means you have to try first, then you will know.  Yeah, Kamariah and I tried the noodles and it was not to our taste.  The gravy is too starchy and the taste is not right.  Indeed, we tried the noodles and now we really know.  Yucks!!!
