THERE'S ALWAYS A FIRST TIME

This evening was my first time playing the game of Congkak.  All these years, I was aware of this traditional Malay game but did not know how to play it.  Well, brave me signed up to take part in the Congkak Competition for Teacher's Day without knowing the rules.  It was all in the spirit of competition. Thank goodness my opponent was kind and patient enough to teach me the ropes. 
As expected, I LOST the game but now I have an idea of how it is played.  So, in a way I was a WINNER.
