SUDDEN PANG FOR KON LOU EGG NOODLES

This evening I had a sudden pang for Kon Lou Wanton Noodles (云吞干捞面) and headed to Old Town White Coffee Restaurant to get some.   Hey, I practically grew up on the stuff and once in a while I need to satisfy myself by indulging in it.  In case you do not know what I am ranting on about, Kon Lou Mien or Noodles is a style of cooking whereby the egg noodles (or any other type of noodles) and first cooked in boiling water and then the water is drained before light and dark soy sauces are added.  Other ingredients like oil are added to add to the taste.
I had mine with wanton. There were also orders for fried prawn wanton and toasted brown bread with potato curry. Yeah! I eat a lot.  Thank goodness I have a lot of nervous energy and my running around helps to burn off the calories.
