NAKED CAT

Just in case you are wondering, this cat is not sick.  It is called a Sphynx Cat and this is how it looks like.The Sphynx is also called Canadian Hairless.  It is a rare breed of cat known for its lack of a coat.

The Sphynx appears to be a hairless cat, but it is not truly hairless. It actually has very short, fine hair something like a peach.
 
The cat above was photographed at the ABC pet shop in Ipoh.  I had gone there with my mum who wanted to buy two new tortoises.  Many of the potential clients at the shop were taken aback when they saw the cat and were asking what happened to the fur.  It was my mum who pointed out to my aunt that it was an Egyptian cat (not quite accurate but almost there) and that this was a breed.  She saw it on Animal Planet.
