LOVELY GESTURE FROM SON TO MOM

Mark and his mum

As Sunday is Mother's Day, I would like to share an article I read about how Taiwanese actor Mark Zhao made his mum cry on her birthday.

Here is the article:
For the great Mother's Day, Mark Zhao cleared his work schedule and requested that his parents not go anywhere, because he wanted to cook for his mother! Actually, because of his mother's simple sentence, he once practiced 21 days of piano, close to 100 hours, and performed two pieces, "Nostalgia" and "Remembering Love", for his mother. His mother was very moved and loved the birthday present.

Mom explains Mark's lack of piano interest as due to his character
Mr. and Mrs. Zhao have always considered children who learn piano superior and more educated, and less likely to turn into a bad apple. Therefore, they had Mark start taking lessons from the age of five, unfortunately, he stopped his lessons once he turned 12. He took up drums and DJ-ing, but gave up once he got tired of it. This was the reason why Mrs. Zhao would chastise her son, saying that he had only "3 degrees of interest."
When he was studying at Canada's University of Victoria in his 3rd year in Commerce, his mother was reviewing videos of his piano playing during younger times, and half-praised, half-murmured, "You look so cute playing piano! Too bad you don't play anymore, I guess I'll have to rely on these old videos." At the time, he remained silent, but in his mind he was racing forward to his mother's birthday in three weeks. Without another word, he immediately began preparing for his sweet surprise.
Rents practice room, practiced for over 100 hours
One of his friends said, "The next day, Mark reviewed the video that Mommy Zhao was looking at, taking note of the piece he was playing, then went to search for the scores." Not having touched the piano for over 10 years, Mark rented out a practice room at the university and spent most of his three weeks there, giving up time with friends, activities and sports. He would practice hard every day after his classes, and spent 100 hours in his 21 days of practice, which came out of his love for his mother.
Super surprised, Mrs. Zhao praised both children as her treasures
On his mother's birthday, Mark invited his father and herself to a a restaurant for dinner, and after they finished, immediately brought them to the piano room at his university. It turned out that he had rented the room at school, and performed the two pieces that he played in the video when he was younger, Richard Clayderman's famous "Nostalgia" and "Remembering Love". He didn't even finish playing before his mother was already moved to tears, and his father's eyes were red. To this day, his mother never forgets the moment. Right now, his mother's comment about her children are, "God's greatest give to me, is my two good sons."
