The Chinese believe that sometimes our dearly departed ones would come and pay us a visit at night in the form of a white butterfly.
Well, last Saturday a white butterly came a-visiting at my house. Earlier in the evening, my mum, aunt and I had gone for dinner at a shop selling nyonya kuih, vegetarian noodles and tong sui (a type of sweet drink). After our meal, I bought a nyonya kuih and a packet of noodles. I said I was going to place it on my dad's altar as an offering to him.
After my mum had placed the offering on the altar and we were all watching telly there appeared this white butterfly resting near the altar. It kept hovering around our living room and made its presence felt. I noticed that it also rested on the noodles.
Hmm .... could it be my daddy?
good night..salam persahabatan..siggah la selalu ye
