I went to a gift shop yesterday evening with the intent of buying some ribbons. After choosing the ribbon that I had wanted I walked to the counter to pay. What awaited me was a row of about 10 parents and their children who were lining up to pay for the gifts that they had chosen for the teachers. I could see about 9 or 10 sets of photo frames, mugs and other items.
I told myself that I better buy the ribbons another day as it would take ages to pay for RM2.60 for the ribbons. The teachers of the little boys and girls would have lots of photo frames, mugs, plastic roses and other decorative items to take back home with them in the afternoon.
