BLUE MUSHROOMS

I actually did not know that there really exist mushrooms that are blue in colour until I visited one blog yesterday.  The blogger who is visiting Tasmania at the moment posted a picture of the Blue Mushrooms and that got me interested.
The Scientific name for it is Mycena interrupta.  The blue mushroom is commonly known as the Pixies' Parasol.   It  can be found in Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and Chile.
